The lonely sunlight sneaked a visit through my window looking for some company. Together we enjoyed a blissful moment

Superb photography! 10/10.
Why would you say ‘lonely’ sunlight? The sunlight wanted to make friends, it has plenty of places to go to.

hey you guys want to share what kind of lens are you using?

At the moment I am just using the standard kit lens that came with my D70 i.e. 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5 and I also have a 60mm f/2.8 macro lens as well. Both lenses are from Nikon.
Here is some advice on lenses. Keep using whatever lens you are using. With time you will get to know its strengths and weaknesses e.g. if you shoot landscapes and are using something like 18-55 then you will soon figure out that you need something wider like 12-24. Your purchase of a lens all depends on what sort of pictures you take.
Secondly just look at loads of pictures – by professionals – and try to figure out for yourself how this could have been achieved, rather than just going through their tips. This increases your creativity. People have done some amazing work on flickr (I also have a profile there), but most of them use tools like photoshop to edit them – which is not my style -, so looking at pictures from professionals you really get to know what can be done with just a camera and a lens.
Come up with a picture in your head and try to execute it without photoshop that is what I always say

Thank you Zeeshan this is very valuable information. I’m currently a beginner in photography but I’m very interested in learning photography as well as sketching/painting. I’m looking to get a DSLR and I’m trying to decide between Nikon D80 and Canon Rebel XSi. I’ve heard that both are equally good but Canon does better on high speed photography. Right now I’m looking to do landscapes and maybe macro. I’ve talked to a few people and they have asked me to go for DSLR-like for starters. What do you think?
Thanks again!!

And you bet, I’d never retouch my pictures either. Beautiful is pure.
